Google 旗下的 YouTube 公佈了 YouTube 2020 年全球遊戲類影片數劇公佈，其宣稱 2020 是 YouTube Gaming 史上最重要的一年，總觀看時數達到 1,000 億小時（等於往返海王星 47.5 萬次），遊戲直播觀看時間達到 100 億小時，活躍的遊戲頻道超過 4,000 萬。在今年有 8 萬名創作者達到 10 萬訂閱、1,000 名創作著達到 500 萬訂閱、350 多位創作者達到 1,000 萬訂閱。
